The Longest Table is a free event that brings people of all backgrounds together for a shared meal and conversation. It's a simple way to create moments of joy and build community. Started in NYC after the pandemic, the event has now been replicated in several towns across the U.S. and Europe -- now it's in it's second. year in Vienna!
The Vienna event is a 2-hour potluck lunch that is free and open to the public. Anyone can sign up to reserve a seat, either solo or in a group of up to 4 people. Attendees are then assigned to a “Table Captain,” who coordinates the potluck for their section of the table. We provide the tables and chairs - you provide the food and community!
We will have reserved seating for 500 attendees, with any overflow welcome to picnic on the Vienna Town Green.
When: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 12-2 pm
Location: Mill St SE, adjacent to the Vienna Town Green
